Israel came highly recommended from a friend and neighbor when I hired him to paint our residence in South Austin several years ago. He did not disappoint. First, he is most respectful and courteous. Second, he is an impeccable craftsman. The most important part of painting is the preparation. At least 80% of the time Israel spends is on preparation. Unlike others, who apply paint on any surface in any condition, only to have it flake off a few months later, Israel and his crew make sure each spot is ready for paint, sanding, power washing, and retexturing as needed. Israel is an expert drywall repair and texture specialist as well, keenly matching any texture pattern around the the repairs he makes. Lastly, he only uses the correct materials. He won't use the wrong caulk just because he has some leftover from a previous job. My house looks just the way it did the day he finished painting it years ago. No separation of caulk, no missed spots, no flaking paint. Since then, I have hired Monarcas Painting to paint several rental homes we own in the Lockhart area. Then, when I needed a painter in South Texas, I paid the extra travel expenses to get Israel to Portland to ensure the job was done right. It came out beautifully. I highly recommend Israel Mora and his company, Monarcas Painting. You will not be disappointed.
